Düsseldorf

At the Institut für Informatik of HHU Düsseldorf, in the computer science bachelor's programme. The lecture notes and the recordings are public:

The bachelor's theses I have supervised are listed on Abschlussarbeiten. If you are looking for a supervisor, Bachelorarbeit bei mir (in German) sets out the prerequisites and how supervision works — note that I am taking on no new topics until the summer term of 2027.

I held a PhD grant for almost 4 years, so I didn't have to do any teaching for most of the time.

However, I do like seminars very much.

Seminar on Motives

Winter 2012/13

As an undergraduate student I have been tutoring topology, complex analysis I & II and commutative algebra & algebraic curves at the University of Freiburg. Tutoring in Germany means to have a class of 5-20 students, to discuss and grade problem sheets the students solve each week after the lectures.

Older material — seminar talks, lecture notes and one-page summaries from Freiburg — is collected under notes and talks.
